Free of Speech
Do you know that since its launch, Trump’s Truth Social has been the most downloaded app on the App Store? The main reason is Trump’s use of the phrase “free speech.” This is the primary motivation behind ELON MUSK’s desire to make TWITTER a free-to-speech app.
“Given that Twitter serves as the de facto public town square, failing to follow free speech principles fundamentally undermines democracy,” Mr. Musk says.
Mr. Musk also stated that the platform should abide by the laws of the countries in which it provides services. And, he added, that when Twitter makes changes to amplify or reduce the reach of a tweet, it should inform users about the changes.
Twitter Blue authentication checkmark
According to Musk, Twitter gives users who pay for Twitter Blue — a subscription service that adds extra features to users’ accounts — a checkmark to show their account has been “authenticated” in recent tweets.

Make Twitter algorithm open source
Mr. Musk suggested making Twitter’s algorithm open source in his TED talk, which would allow others outside the company to look at it and suggest fixes and changes. Putting the code on GitHub, a site for storing software projects, is one way to do so, he said.

Take the public company to private
After listing to his talk, I thought about how business people think and what their mindset was!!
Musk goes on to say He stated, “Twitter needs to be transformed into a private company.” “Twitter has a lot of potential. “I’ll get it unlocked.”
Taking Twitter off the stock exchange would likely make it easier for Mr. Musk to make the changes he wants, as much of the pressure from shareholders would be relieved. However, Mr. Musk stated in the TED interview that if he is successful in taking the company private, he would like to keep as many shareholders as possible.
